Eric Decker has nearly 30 years’ experience in Information Technology and Software Development. He started his professional career doing software testing and development while still a student at BYU. After graduating from BYU in Computer Science and Aerospace Studies (ROTC), he received a commission as an Air Force Officer. While in the Air Force, Eric, lead a team of software developers for the Air Force Y2K program.
After 4 years in the Air Force, Eric moved his young family to Denver, Colorado where he has held many positions and disciplines within the Software Engineering and Information Technology.
Eric is currently at Denver Water where he leads the Enterprise Applications and Data Services teams encompassing software applications for Finance, Human Resources, Billing, Document Management, Geospatial and Asset Management.
Outside of his work, Eric spends most of his time with his family, gardening, doing home improvement and serving in various callings in the church.
