Brent Allred

Principal, AIA, LEED AP, Allred & Associates

Brent Allred developed a passion for architecture at an early age while growing up along Colorado’s Front Range, a place he still proudly calls home. After serving a mission in Japan, where he gained a deep appreciation for the culture and language, Brent earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, through its rigorous five-year architecture program.

Brent began his professional career with the highly respected firm Simmons & Brecht in Santa Rosa California, where he was integrated into the practicing concept of architects as developers. During this time, collaboration became a cornerstone of his design philosophy and client relationships. After returning to Colorado to care for his parents, Brent worked with OZ Architecture before founding Allred & Associates. His architectural career now spans more than 45 years, with Allred & Associates successfully serving clients for over 33 years.  He started Allred & Associates 36 years ago.

He has worked on numerous projects including Hotels, Office Buildings, Medical Offices, and in particular Emergency Service Buildings.

He is married and shares eight children with his wife Joan Speakman Allred. They have 13 grandchildren.

The culture at Allred & Associates is built on collaboration, trust, and shared expertise. While Brent
serves as owner and senior designer, input from every team member is encouraged and valued.
